Besides giving online using our Vanco account (the external page you are directed to by the “click here to make a donation” button or the QR code), you can certainly make contributions to the ministries of Reformation by check or using cash.
We also accept $25 store gift cards for groceries (Publix or Aldi), gasoline (Wawa or RaceTrac), and property maintenance (Lowes or Ace Hardware). The groceries and gasoline cards are distributed through the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund to needy individuals.
Are your regular offerings to Reformation already a full tithe (10% of your income) or do you want to offer the congregation a special gift (such as in memory of a loved one or to celebrate your abundance)? We maintain a “wish list” of items that you can sponsor (modest to momentous purchases which would enhance our ministries, plus select monthly expenses in our operating budget). To sponsor a “wish list” item, please send a check specifying the name of the item in the “memo” line (or use the “Special Gift” link on our Vanco page and then send a follow-up email to lovinglutherans@gmail.comto specify the item).
Please also consider including Reformation Lutheran Church in your legacy plans. It can be as easy as including us as an additional beneficiary to a life insurance policy or adding this sentence to your will: “After all my bills are paid, I want ten (10) percent of my estate to go to Reformation Lutheran Church in Lakeland, Florida.”
