Sunday Worship

Occurs at 10 a.m. in our sanctuary (main worship space) and on Facebook Live (www.facebook.com/lovinglutherans). We offer liturgical worship featuring settings and congregational singing from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (“cranberry”) hymnal. Holy Communion is offered every week. Baptism Reformation Lutheran Church in Lakeland, FL

Baptism, Weddings, Etc.

Occur as scheduled and are officiated by Pastor Sorensen. Baptisms and Affirmation of Baptism rites (“confirmation”) are generally conducted during Sunday worship. Weddings, funerals, and memorials are generally not conducted the week before Christmas nor Holy Week (the week before Easter). Please contact the church office to arrange baptisms, affirmations, weddings, funerals, memorials, and associated preparation (planning and/or instruction).

The church office is generally staffed by volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Telephone (863-859-2264) and e-mail messages (lovinglutherans@gmail.com) are monitored outside of office hours." and " Pastor Sorensen is also usually available in the office at these times: Sundays, 12 noon – 2:00 p.m.; Mondays, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.; and Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Worship & Office Location

Our campus is located in North Lakeland. We are east of North Socrum Loop Road, across the street from the north entrance to the Sandpiper development, and between a Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall and a Lakeland Electric substation. The sanctuary building is taupe with a white steeple and trim, and the fellowship hall is white with grey and blue accents.
